Minutes of Public Meeting

22nd  June 2013 


Location: Free Church of Scotland (Continuing) at Shettleston, 97 Wellshot road, Glasgow

Item 1: Devotional and Prayer by Rev David Fraser

Matthew Fraser extended a warm welcome to all those in attendance and then called upon Rev David Fraser to open the meeting with prayer.

Item 2: Progress Report

Mrs Janneke Fraser, a member of the Core Group, gave an update of the progress which had been made (see the presentation below for more details). Those assembled were then given an opportunity to ask questions.

Item 3: Call for Membership Registration

The Chair explained the three levels of membership (see the Constitution)
and opportunity was given to those assembled to complete a membership form and pay the fee.


Voting for the Directors of the School

Matthew Fraser outlined the process for the election of Directors of the School.
The following were elected in accordance with the Constitution of the School to serve as Directors of the School:


Church Representatives:
Rev Gavin Beers (Free Church Continuing)
Rev David Fraser (Free Church Continuing)
Mr Donald MacKay (Reformed Presbyterian Church)
Mr John Cormack (Reformed Baptist Church)

Parents:
Mr Norman Fraser
Mr Victor Murphy

Mrs Stewart was proposed and seconded but informed those assembled that she desired some time to consider whether she would take up the position.

Item 5: Thank You from the Children

The children sang a song as a thank you to those who had come to the meeting for their support.

Item 7: Closing Prayer

Donald MacKay led the assembly of people in the closing prayer and asked a blessing upon the refreshments.

Following the close of the meeting those who were elected to serve as Directors conferred together to decide upon a suitable date for their first meeting. It was agreed that they should meet on Friday 12th July 2013 at the Free Church (Continuing) Manse in Shettleston.

Several people stayed after the formal proceedings to enjoy the refreshments provided and to enjoy a time of fellowship.
